Welcome to the Major Taylor International Cycling Convention!
We’re excited to bring this year’s convention to the west coast, co-hosted by Major Taylor Los Angeles (MTLA). Set against California’s beautiful landscapes, this event is a chance for cyclists of all backgrounds to come together and celebrate the legacy of Major Taylor. Over three days, we’ll connect through scenic rides, dive into insightful sessions, and enjoy time with a community that shares our dedication to the values of resilience, inclusion, and advocacy.
Whether you’re an experienced rider, a new cyclist, or simply passionate about creating a more inclusive cycling world, you’re welcome here. Join us as we work together to honor Major Taylor’s legacy and strengthen our community for future generations.
Adult registration covers all main convention activities, including rides and seminars, and supports free youth participation. Add on the White Party for a memorable Saturday night of food, drinks, and community! Please note, all registrations are non-refundable.
Thanks to the support of adult registrants, youth registration is free! Young cyclists can enjoy all convention rides and sessions. All youth must be accompanied by an adult.

Wrap up an amazing day of riding with the convention’s exclusive White Party on Saturday night! Dress in your finest white attire and enjoy an evening of celebration, connection, and fun. The night will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres, refreshing beverages, and great company as we come together to honor Major Taylor’s legacy in style. Bikeflights is proud to offer bicycle shipping services to the Major Taylor Convention. You can ship your bike directly to your hotel or use Bikeflights' Bike Shop Finder to locate your preferred local bike shop to receive your bike and help you arrange additional services such as assembly or disassembly and packing. Always contact your destination location before shipping to ask for permission and provide a 'heads-up' of your bike's arrival.

If you plan to ride a trike bike during the convention weekend, you must provide your own SAG. MTICA can not guarantee that SAG will have the means to transport your trike bike during the event.
